Great White Occasions are very honoured to have been hand-picked by Vogue UK magazine to be included in their feature on ‘Vogue’s Dream Wedding’, which will include a select number of different wedding suppliers.
We will be included in the April edition which will be in the shops on 10th March 2014.
Please check back as we will add pictures on our blog of the feature once it is published!
We are excited to be exhibiting at our first wedding fair in just one weeks time!
The Didsbury Wedding Fete is organised by the lovely Ailish McDonnell of Keep Calm and Marry On and we are lucky that it is so close to where we live, and that Ailish is happy for us to reveal Bruce’s big makeover to everyone there!
We are also excited to be mentioned in a feature Kelly at Boho Weddings wrote about the Didsbury Wedding Fete – you can see her feature here.
There is a £1 donation to enter the Wedding Fete, which goes to to Parsonage Trust, the Grade II listed building with beautiful surrounding gardens, where the fete will be held.
The wedding fete is open 11am – 4pm on Sunday 29th September 2013, at the Old Parsonage, Stenner Lane, Didsbury, M20 2RQ and we hope to see you all there!
We are pleased to say that Bruce the VW camper van is nearly complete! We can’t wait for his custom made interior from Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers to be fitted in and used by many brides and grooms.
Please check back soon as we will be adding new pictures once he is completely finished!
Bruce has surfaced from the murky depths of his makeover, ready to compliment his future brides and grooms on their big day. More pictures of the finished Bruce coming very soon!
On the 28th June we went to the Mobilty Roadshow in Telford. We met a lot of inspiring people who liked our idea of a wheelchair accessible VW campervan. We made some excellent contacts, who we hope to work with in the future.
Our lovely van Bruce is currently at the salon getting a fancy new paint job. We can’t wait to see how he looks! Rest assured, we’ll be sure to post lots of photos of him in all his finery when he returns.
We decided we would try and do some networking and introduce ourselves to some other people in the wedding industry by visiting one of the biggest wedding shows in the North West.
We made our own temporary business cards with our contact details on, so that we would have something to hand out to people who seemed interested in our idea.
We were able to catch up with Mark R Williamson, who was the photographer at our wedding in March 2010, which was lovely as we hadnt really seen him since then!
We also met the lovely Rachael and Jan from Ice Cream Dub and were able to sample some of their lovely ice cream that they serve from Sassy, their beautiful split screen camper van!
It was a great afternoon and it was nice to speak to some people from the North West and hopefully we will keep in touch with some and possibly work with them in the future!
