The Wedding Fete 2014

Hope you all had a lovely Valentines day last week!

We are busy getting ready for the Wedding Fete in Didsbury on Sunday 2nd March.  This will be the second time we have exhibited here, and we had a great time introducing Bruce our VW camper van to lots of brides and grooms from around the North West last year.

The Wedding Fete is open 11 – 4pm and the entry cost is only £1 which goes to the Parsonage Trust, a charity which maintains the amazing Old Parsonage venue where the fete is being held.

There will be lots of fantastic local suppliers who are based in the North West, so there will be lots of inspiration for your big day, whether you are just starting your planning or are arranging your final details!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Brides Up North Vintage and Luxury Wedding Exhibition

We are so excited to announce our third wedding fair for 2013! We will be showing Bruce the VW camper van off at the amazing Brides Up North Vintage and Luxury Wedding Exhibition on Sunday 3rd November 2013 at the beautiful Bowdon Rooms in Bowdon, Altrincham.

We have been a long-time fan of the Brides up North website, and of the hard work Julia does, and we are thrilled to be part of one of her wedding fairs!

The entry is free and the event is on from 12pm – 4 pm.  You can pre-register for one of only 200 VIP goody bags (also for free!) on the Brides Up North website here.

The address is: The Bowdon Rooms, The Firs, Altrincham, WA14 2TQ and there is plenty of free parking on site.

Hopefully the wild weather will have settled by then, so please come and say hello and see our wonderful Bruce the VW camper van for yourselves!

White Memoirs Vintage Wedding Fayre October 2013

We are very excited to be attending our second wedding fair, only 1 week after our first ever wedding fair!

We had great feedback about Bruce our VW campervan at the Wedding Fete in Didsbury last week, and we are looking forward to introducing him to more couples on Sunday 6th October at the White Memoirs Vintage Wedding Fayre at Festival Hall in Alderley Edge.

The wedding fayre is free to attend, it is organised by Rachael and you can see a full list of exhibitors here on her Social Butterfly website

The Festival Hall is a a beautiful 1920s ballroom and we will be based outside the entrance, so please come and say hello and even have your photo taken inside Bruce the camper van so you can see how you would look on your big day!

The Didsbury Wedding Fete 2013

We are excited to be exhibiting at our first wedding fair in just one weeks time!

The Didsbury Wedding Fete is organised by the lovely Ailish McDonnell of Keep Calm and Marry On and we are lucky that it is so close to where we live, and that Ailish is happy for us to reveal Bruce’s big makeover to everyone there!

We are also excited to be mentioned in a feature Kelly at Boho Weddings wrote about the Didsbury Wedding Fete – you can see her feature here.

There is a £1 donation to enter the Wedding Fete, which goes to to Parsonage Trust, the Grade II listed building with beautiful surrounding gardens, where the fete will be held.

The wedding fete is open 11am – 4pm on Sunday 29th September 2013, at the Old Parsonage, Stenner Lane, Didsbury, M20 2RQ and we hope to see you all there!

Our day out at Tatton Wedding Show 2013

We decided we would try and do some networking and introduce ourselves to some other people in the wedding industry by visiting one of the biggest wedding shows in the North West.

We made our own temporary business cards with our contact details on, so that we would have something to hand out to people who seemed interested in our idea.

We were able to catch up with Mark R Williamson, who was the photographer at our wedding in March 2010, which was lovely as we hadnt really seen him since then!

We also met the lovely Rachael and Jan from Ice Cream Dub and were able to sample some of their lovely ice cream that they serve from Sassy, their beautiful split screen camper van!

It was a great afternoon and it was nice to speak to some people from the North West and hopefully we will keep in touch with some and possibly work with them in the future!
